Introducing The new Pakistan Army Commando (LBC) Light battalion commando
The Pakistan Army raised a commando battalion between 2013 and 2014 under the Special Service Group i.e. SSG to maintain peace and control terrorism within the country. Which is named Light Battalion Commando. And like SSG it is also called LBC in short form.
SSG commandos have not only fought terrorism in the past several years but also played an important role in uprooting this terrorism. If we talk about inside Pakistan, The SSG commandos not only eliminated the terrorists present from Swat and Bajaur to Waziristan but also destroyed their hideouts. Guys, the original purpose of creating the Light Battalion was to support the SSG Commandos. And this light battalion commando was made or completely in the style of SSG. If we talk about the training, The training of SSG commandos is very tough. That is why special infantry and SSG commando main trainings are given to this battalion.
And this battalion has been provided modern equipment's trainings along with modern and advanced weapons. And the LBC commando unique in that they are capable of fighting infantry and SSG style at the same time. LBC commandos have been trained for special warfare. And then this light battalion showed such great skill in operations like Zarb-e-azb that the terrorists had to flee.
LBC Commandos work under a Corps Commander and the same Corps Commander assigns tasks to the commandos.
If we talk about the main operations of this battalion, then the commandos of this LBC defeated the terrorists who attacked Khalid Air Base with great ease. After that, on August 14, 2014, the PAF base also foiled the terrorist attack inside SAMUNGLI. And played an important role in operations like Zarb Azb.
