A mind-Reading Combat Jet For The Future
During the Second World War, the pilots who flew the fighter plane named Spitfire have often said about this plane. The Spitfire Plane react as if they were a part of the pilots' body parts. In the year 2030, an even closer relationship will be established between fighter pilots and their warplanes. Because these planes will be able to know what the pilot flying them is thinking. So, in this regard, the Sixth Generation Tempest is being built. The Tempest fighter jet is being developed by British BAE Systems, European Missile Group, MBDA, Royal Air Force and Italy's Leonardo Company.
One of the features of this aircraft will be its artificial intelligence, which will assist the pilot in times of extreme stress. In this way, after several flights, the artificial intelligence of the aircraft will collect extensive biometric and psychometric data.
This library of pilot-specific features will enable the aircraft's artificial intelligence to sense at any time whether the pilot needs assistance or not. For example, if the pilot loses consciousness due to gravity while flying, the artificial intelligence will take over the control of the plane.
At a recent air show, BAE Systems said that by 2027 it will be in a position to test fly a similar aircraft from the Wharton plant in Lanka. During which some of its new technologies will be reviewed.
This first aircraft will be able to fulfill its various capabilities during about 60 projects. Some of which will be limited to software only.
To be clear, the first images of the Tempest fighter were released in 2018. Since then, there have been many changes in it. His weight has decreased. Finally, when the Tempest aircraft will fly in the air, it will be accompanied by autonomous fighter drones that will be its companions. But to make this kind of scientific method possible, completely new systems of control and monitoring have to be developed.
The production of this aircraft will also be done largely through automated systems. During this project, BAE Systems and Leonardo will also collaborate with Japan's Mitsubishi, whose FX aircraft project is closely related to the Tempest.
The makers of the Tempest fighter jet hope that artificial intelligence will enable the pilot to be less overwhelmed by the flow of information he receives. This whole project is being developed along with MBAD Reform Company. Under which missiles will be fired from Tempest, then they will be handed over to its companion drone which will assist it in reaching the target. But this project is completely dependent on the production of the new engine. Rolls-Royce will provide power to the Tempest aircraft as well as develop a fully digital system. The amount and speed of data collected on this ship will make it as hot as a laptop. On which the work pressure is high.
If we talk about the budget of this aircraft, the UK government has allocated 2 billion dollars for this project so far, but this aircraft will cost a lot of money.
